Me and Chris have been chosen to do an advert for lush. we have emailed the 3D product design group that pitched the idea to us and are waiting there email to meet and and discus the idea further. We want to stick to there brief as much as possible, but me and Chris thought that instead of having the soap from lush being plain and boring with the shop product isn't, we were hoping to persuade them into changing the idea of having the soap the normal lush colour and design. On our group blog we have shown the emails, timetable, schedules our ideas and comments on what we can do with the product.
I went to the lush shop yesterday were I picked up there news paper called the Lush Times, which list there products with prices, funny names. ingredients, weights and a mini picture design in the corner of each product letting the consumer know if the product is good for kids, skin soothing, good for lads and mind calming.
I had many ideas on what to do with the advertising of the product for example:
This product is on of the soaps in lush when looking at it, it reminds me of the ocean, and I thought that we could use this as a template of having the consumer smell the product and the scene change into being at the ocean mixing the product with look and smell, making the advert interesting.
The other idea was by Chris to have flowers and butterflies coming out of the product from previous advertising making the advert colourful using animation to show the product smelling of outside: The other idea was to hopefully after we have spoken to the 3D production group to have the idea of making the product a rich brand because the soap is expensive, to have it in a rich hotel were the 3D product group wanted the soap advertised as a freebie in the hotel, to have the concept of having a upper class hotel, with a rich merchandise in the hotel.
